Jerusalem: The Israel Tourism Office announced Monday that it has launched a tourism program to help boost tourism in the city’s Arab and Jewish communities.
The tourism center is one of several initiatives that the office is launching in Israel and abroad to bring Israeli and foreign visitors together and help them feel the Israeli culture.
Its first stop is in the West Bank city of Ramallah, where the Tourism Ministry is hosting the first-ever international conference for Israeli tourism in April.
The center, set up with support from the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, will focus on the tourism sector and will provide workshops, seminars, exhibitions and lectures to Israeli tourists, as well as provide them with information about Israeli tourism, tourism opportunities in the United States and abroad.
In addition, the center is hosting a two-day international conference in Ramallah on April 14 and 15, where Israeli and international tourism representatives will discuss the tourism opportunities of the country.
