A new sex tourism company has opened in New York City’s Chinatown.
Philadelphia tourism is the first sex tourism firm to open up in the U.S. after being founded by an Israeli entrepreneur, and its CEO said it will open a second location in Philadelphia’s Chinatown later this year.
The company, called Philz, was founded by Israeli-American entrepreneur David Zipperer and his wife, Zevi.
Zipperer, who is also a member of the Israel Tourism Board, said that the new business will be focused on helping tourists find sexual partners.
“We are opening up a second city in the same city, and we are trying to create a community in Chinatown,” Zipperers said.
Zippererers said that his company has more than 100 partners and has a network of more than 70 partners across the country.ZIPERS NEW SEX TOURISM PLACE:Zipperers is one of several entrepreneurs working in New America to open sex tourism operations.
A New York Times investigation last year found that sexual assaults are on the rise in America, with an estimated 1.3 million reported cases in 2015, and a 2016 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that sexual violence was “at its highest levels in a decade.”
Zippers business is being seen as a stepping stone to sex tourism, which has been increasing in popularity in America in recent years, as well as more broadly in Asia and Europe.
According to the New York State Department of Taxation, there are more than 15 million sex tourists in the United States.
