BHUTAN (AP) Tourism from Nepal has reached a record high of 7.4 million tourists in the past five years, a number that is likely to keep growing as it continues to grapple with the impact of Nepal’s devastating earthquake and subsequent pandemic.
Tourism from Nepal reached a new high of 2.3 million in the first six months of 2018.
The country, which has a population of about 12 million, has been plagued by political and security issues since the deadly quake in 2015 that killed more than 5,000 people.
Nepal is now dealing with the aftermath of the deadly earthquake and the ongoing pandemic, which is forcing the closure of its borders and the closure off of its tourism industry.
The government has been trying to bring tourism back to Nepal through various means, including promoting tourism among the Nepalese, helping the Nepali government pay for reconstruction of some of its historic monuments and helping the people of Nepal rebuild their lives.
The number of tourists from India and Nepal is on the rise, too, with a total of 2 million and 1.7 million, respectively.
Tourism from India grew at 6.3 percent in the second quarter, the biggest increase since the first quarter of 2018, according to the Tourism Development Corporation of India.
In addition, the government has announced a tourism plan for the year 2020.
Tourists from India will now be able to enjoy some of the attractions and culture in the country that Nepal does not have.
But that does not mean that the country is returning to its days of glory.
India, a major tourist destination, was hit by the devastating earthquake in 2015 and the pandemic that has swept through Nepal.
It is not yet clear if the earthquake will impact tourism in Nepal, but the country’s tourism has been in a steady decline.
The number of people who have visited Nepal from India rose by 3 percent to a record of 10.5 million in 2018.
It’s unclear if the economic downturn will affect tourism, but there has been a slight uptick in the number of foreigners visiting the country in recent months.
India is home to about 6 million people and Nepal has about 5 million.
Tourism in the two countries is expected to grow in 2020 as people return home from the pandemics and the reconstruction of damaged temples.
Tourist from China is the second-largest visitor in Nepal.
The Chinese government has not announced a specific date for their arrival, but in recent years, the Chinese government began providing financial aid to Nepal’s economy.
The Indian government has also begun to provide financial assistance to the Nepalis in Nepal as well.
Last year, India provided nearly $5 billion in aid, including $2.6 billion to the government of Nepal.
India and China are the two largest travel destinations in the world.
The combined tourist industry from India, China and Nepal totaled $14.5 billion last year, according the tourism development corporation of India, or TDSI.
India is also one of the top destinations for tourists from South America, Asia and Africa.TDSI estimates that about 15 percent of all foreign tourists come from China, the country with the world’s second-biggest economy.
That percentage is expected increase as more Chinese citizens move to Nepal, a move that will also draw more tourists from the Indian side.
In 2018, the Nepalians have opened a tourism center in the capital of Kathmandu, called Kathmandur Nepal Tourism Development Centre.
There are more than 200 foreign tour companies, including many from the United States and Europe, that are registered there.
